The Byrne Family Practice is a GP surgery located in the middle of Dundalk town. It was founded in 1985 by Dr Patrick Byrne, and is currently run by two of his children, Dr Colman Byrne and Dr Maeve Byrne.

We strive to provide high quality healthcare within the community setting and have a wealth of experience treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. We attend to private patients and those with medical cards or doctor visit cards from within our catchment area. We are also part of the Under 6 Doctor Visit Card Scheme and the Combined Antenatal Care Programme.

As we are a training practice on The North East GP training scheme, we are involved in the education of future GPs.

We are a center of referral for patients requiring Long Acting Reversible Contraception (implants and contraceptive coils, including copper devices) - you do not need to be a patient of this practice to avail of this service.

We also specialize in anti-wrinkle treatment - you do not need to be a patient of this practice to avail of this service.
